Park of Nations: The modern Lisbon by the river: offices, hotels, restaurants, luxury apartment buildings, a marina, and the Lisbon Aquarium. Built to hold the World Exposition Fair in 1998 which theme was "The Oceans, a Heritage for the Future", chosen to commemorate 500 years of Portuguese Discoveries.
Madre de Deus, Alfama and Saint George´s Castle: Madre de Deus, a 16th-century monument where the National Tiles Museum is located. Alfama, an ancient Moorish Medina, is the oldest part of Lisbon, characterized by its typical alleys and steep streets. We will arrive at the Castle of St. George, one of the most impressive legacies of the Moorish civilization in Portugal. On our way to “Baixa” (downtown) we will see the Cathedral of Lisbon, of Romanesque architecture, built in the 12th century.
Chiado and Bairro Alto: Time now to drive up another hill of Lisbon and get to know these two districts: “Bairro Alto”, known for its crossroads of streets which during the weekends thousands of people come to enjoy the most bohemian spots of Lisbon; “Chiado” where culture and art live hand-in-hand: the Opera House of São Carlos, theaters, restaurants, art galleries and some of the oldest bookstores in the modern world are located here.

Downtown Lisboa, “A Baixa Pombalina”: Continuing our tour we will cross the “Baixa de Lisboa”, the most devastated place with the great earthquake of 1755 that practically destroyed Lisbon. The importance of the Pombaline architecture, crossing Avenida da Liberdade until we reach the Marquis de Pombal where we will stop next to "Eduardo the 7th" Park - the most iconic viewpoint in Lisbon.
Belém: In “Belém”, in the Empire Square you will be immersed in the epic Portuguese Discoveries. Old and modern monuments dedicated to the most glorious times of Portugal's history: the Jeronimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém. the Monument to the Discoveries, the National Coach Museum and the CCB: a contemporary-art gallery, museum and concert hall. Last but not least, we will introduce you to the delicious “Pastéis de Belém” a worldwide famous Portuguese pastry.
