Queluz Palace: The first stop of our tour will be in Queluz more properly in the Queluz Palace known as the Portuguese Palace of Versailles. It was here where the the Kings of Portugal lived between the post-earthquake period of 1755 and the troubled departure for Brazil during the invasion of the French, among other things, forced Portugal to move its capital temporarily to Rio de Janeiro.
The Sintra Palaces: In Sintra there are a number of palaces that will sweep you off your feet. Take your pick and we will take you there: Palácio da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira, Sintra National Palace, Monserrate Palace, Chalet of the Countess, or the Castle of the Moors, the choice is exclusively yours, and we will help with important information from each one of them.
Village of Sintra: Enjoy the center of Sintra with its alleys. In the historical center of Sintra, there are countless Portuguese handicraft shops, as well as the famous Sintra Pillow, at Pastelaria Piriquita so free time to enjoy this wonderful place.
Lunch: We will gladly recommend and book a restaurant for you according to your preferences
Cabo da Roca: After lunch our tour takes us through the ever beautiful Sintra Mountains in the direction of Cascais by Colares, a must stop to visit Cabo da Roca (westernmost point of the European continent), with its cliffs that inspired Luís de Camões, the XV century epic portuguese poet, to write "here where the land ends and the sea begins," a place of extreme importance in the period of maritime expansion.
Boca do Inferno: Mandatory stop at Boca do Inferno (literally “Hell´s Mouth”) where you will immediately realize the magnificence of this place. On days of agitated waters you can observe the crashing of waves by the rocks inside, a cave that combines its natural beauty with the natural violence of the sea.
Cascais: Arriving at the village of Cascais, we come across its beautiful bay, nowadays a luxurious place to live or even spend a short vacation. Packed with small fishing boats, free time to explore this small village, so classical that it attracts thousands of people every year.
Estoril: Welcome to the capital of espionage during World War II, wherein the "Casino Estoril", Ian Fleming got his inspiration for the first adventure of the most famous spy of all time: "James Bond - 007". One can also have a glimpse of the immense properties of the European royal families as well as the Casino of Estoril - the setting of Casino Royale, the first Bond book and movie!
